Don't understand what you're saying...
But side fairing is an option, some people like them, some don't and just have steps and that's it, u can see the fuel tanksrabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
Okay, i prefer skirts on, makes it look nice
-
There's only one purpose for the fairings and it's not aesthetic. It's for fuel economy.

Skirts are for girls. And for the record, skirts off is the only way to roll.Chewy352, Roberts450, jason6541 and 3 others Thank this.

I don't bother myself with the details really. The skirts are there for fuel savings. That's all they are good for. Now polished fuel tanks..it shows me that whoever did that work has a love for the rig. I myself prefer matte.
And that's about it really. There is nothing here to get into really. -
On today's roads, carriers should offer a $20 bonus to any/all drivers who can drive from one coast to the other coast without losing any part of the side skirt system. I can remember a time it was unusual to see a Volvo that did not have a missing or loose, flapping skirt panel.
Lucy in the Sky and x1Heavy Thank this. -
That could be what OP is referring to. Those do tend to get forcibly removed by some drivers.Bean Jr. Thanks this.
