Shower tipping.

Because the cashier's not mopping your dang pubes and pee splatter off the floor. Somebody else is, and the least you can do is show some courtesy with a dollar or two.

 

So what are you saying? People that don't tip for a shower aren't or couldn't be courteous people.

 

To give a different perspective on this...

My first job when I was 15 was maintenance at a truck stop. To a kid that $1-2 here and there meant a little extra fun on the weekend. It was never expected but always nice.

 

You are not required to tip. I always do if the shower is free. If I am at a place that requires $12 for a shower, I don't. I tip $5 each free shower.

I over tip waitresses. I sometimes pick up the check for a couple of kids out on a date. I open doors for other drivers and women. I do these thing because of my upbringing. I don't feel a need to, it is just what I do.

 

If those employees don't report the tips to the IRS they'll be in big trouble.
I feel better knowing that I have had no part in sending those people to Federal Prison.

 

What if she is hot. I know the chance is slim but........

 

I used to over tip cows....

 

I have used the showers, paid for them, and left a tip if the place was clean. I do the same for those waiting on my table when they do a good job, just as I do the maid in the hotel for a clean room and a made up bed. I visited the same hotel 3 times in 5 weeks, on my 3rd stay the maid left a note telling me she appreciated the tip and made her realize people appreciate what she does. They do take note, and if you frequent a place.
