Not me I packed everything including the kitchen sink and buy more of stuff I don't need at many Wal-Mart's while out there.

Nothing wrong with that. I'm not one to judge.

I don't have to carry all that stuff around when you clean out a truck though!

Enough space to hold all that in the truck would be nice.

I'm in Canada, and I'm getting my CDL from Humber College. Six week course. I don't want to mention the companies though. I'm a firm believer in the power of the Almighty Jinx. Two are larger (around 300 units) and one is smaller (50 units). Nobody like Challenger, Schneider or the like.

A sleeping bag would work while you're on your trainers truck, but ditch it once you're out on your own. Invest in a nice set of sheets (I preferred a set for a full size bed but most truck mattresses are technically called long twins) and a nice comforter. Also a couple of thinner blankets and several nice pillows too. You'll be much more comfy than you'd be with just a sleeping bag and pillow.

I have all that and more in my truck... I eat onlynoff my truck for the most part. You can add a fridge that's full of food and a cupboard full of dry cans and packed stuff...

Cushy. Lap of luxury there with that list.

I hope you considered securement and padding for some of the items on that list like the 24 inch screen... a good bad bridge will shake it down and hurt it.

CO2 has no smell. OR taste. It literally binds to your red blood cells in place of (And prevents...) Oxygen molecules. until your blood gas stat drops too much and you fall unconscious prior to death if you are not moved or administered good air. A Detector will just scream it's head off if you don't park properly in a truckstop or next to a weed burner. (Exhaust pointing downwards...) The proper parking is to be in a corner upwind from everyone else. with a mind towards the forecast into the night or day whichever it may be as it shifts. Eventually excessive CO2 will damage you physically if you do not find good air.

If you have to go out with a trainer when you get out with a company, you will not be able to use a large majority of the items until you have your own truck. Don't know how Canada vs the US, but I imagine it is the same, and it maybe a few weeks before you are able to get home to collect said items. Also if you are in orientation, don't take anything that you can't lug around with you from section to section, unless you have your own room to keep it in. Theft is common, including clothes.

Does anyone remember the driver who got a dot and got dinged for having a sleeping bag on his bed. I believe he was in MN. Sheets and blankets are supposed to be on the bed after your training. And don't ask me to look up the rule, I can't remember where it is.

On the 2005 Volvo Condo husband had years ago, we had a small very old dorm refrig and the Igloo thermo cooler, microwave, George Foreman, a one cup coffee maker.

On his Freightliner now, it is not near as large as the Volvo, he has 2 of the igloo thermo coolers, and a microwave. He doesn't mess with the Burton Stoves. TV he mounted and tries to wrap and bungee strap to the top of the counter so it doesn't bounce around so much. You might want to check into a TV from a truckstop, I think they are a little more sturdy than just a regular house tv. You might need an extra set of speakers for the Tv inorder to hear it also, some of the tv's are really weak on that point. He has used a set from one of our old computers and has a set now from his sister's computer. Couldn't ever get the other types from Walmart, etc to work.

His newest buy is a ice making machine which I bought at Walmart. It is great when you are stuck out at Tyson forever or he's out in the middle of nowhere.
