    You want insurance on the APU as it is separate from your truck. Just have it added to you main insurance policy.

    The APU is financed and they called asking for insurance, should I call my main insurance for the truck? Didn't know I was going to have the added expense for insurance too.

    Yes. Call your main insurance person. It is just a rider policy, not that expensive.

    You can just add it to your existing policy for a small up charge per month. I was so grateful that Hodyon Finance made me do this after I blew a drive tire which did $5000.00+ damage to my Dynasys APU.

    A generator will do a better job and 7000$ less
