Two days after i posted my Snail Racing videos on youtube, ATA dropped their support of speed limiters for trucks.

It was said that some thought it was all the complaints they got from people from off the internet. Not sure what other plan they maybe up to. Some thought it was because no one could figure out what speed the trucks should be set at.

They need all these yahoos to really drive a truck for a year and they they'd see what it was really like.

Big Don and scottied67 Thank this.

I was reading about the ATA withdrawing support of speed limiters and the FMCSA support for it. Seems like they are more focused on however much emissions would be prevented into the atmosphere and nothing was argued about or mentioned about safety. They just kept going on and and about emissions. Since when is it FMCSA's job to worry about GHG?

If the bought-and-paid for lobbying arm of the trucking industry's lowest common denominator for whatever reason backed off of the speed limiter issue, who cares?

That's pretty much a moot point anyway thanks be to the EPA.

This is my underwear, properly mounted and secure. No cuts, frays, tears or skid marks indicating an anal leak.

No Driver Vehicle/Underwear Report is required if there are no problems.

Seems like it would be better to read a report on NO problems, than to have to look at all the gory details if there IS a problem.
