So after first week on the new gig long hours but fun ! So it makes it a Lil difficult to keep up with my workout routine. Like to workout 5 days a week. Anybody else in the same boat? Would like to keep up with my routine before I blow up like a freaking balloon! Lmao

    Simple.

Ask your dispatch for live unloads each night., Move 48,000 pounds in boxes from your trailer however many feet across the dock, however far they want it set. Ive done it.

You have 11 hours to drive and the generosity of Uncle Sam allows you to labor another 4 to get the exercise.

Running and pushups is generally all that I can find time for. Usually try to do 4-5 days a week. If nothing else I will try to get out and walk a bit. I also park as far away as I can do get in some walking.

Go Flatbed. Get out and away from container work. Too cushy. Flipping 4 hooks every time they plop a box on you and maybe hooking up some reefer lines and glad hands now and then.

We were too poor to have a gym, It's fighting in the alleyway or throwing boxes. That did it. If you looked at the entire family, all are beefy except me. I get beefy in my time, decades later. From food which I am working on. I am down from 260 to 176 or so now. Working on the future. what there is of it.
