This is a primary reason to run a dashcam, see this guy ran over a tire in the road could have easily ended up in my lane all tangled up. Easy to blame scottie, but since scottie has a dashcam we really know what happened.

 

I have one in my truck. So far I only caught one thing on it. Was an accident by 2 college girls on i35e in a grand Prix. We were next to the Owens Corning plant in Waxi when a white pick up passed me on the left then go over while accelerating away, directly behind him was a white grand Prix that was gaining on him and all over the road. I seen both of the girls in the car texting. She ended up drifting into the pick up, over corrected and bounced off the divider wall narrowly missing the bridge support.
