How in the world would one land a job hauling produce to Alaska ?
BigSky Thanks this. -
It is getting tougher and tougher, but if you want to team drive you can check out Fairchild Freight. They hiring teams with sign on bonuses and everything. It is beyond me how anybody can get any sleep on the roads up North. Frost heaves, wash board gravel and pot holes that will swallow up a Smart car. We will see when the first team truck is on it's side because the driver fell a sleep. There is enough trucks going off the road every year already.DenaliDad, redoctober83 and 28 Thank this.

This thread went quiet! How is everyone doing? We haven't been up to Alaska yet this year but we are hoping something will turn up soon!

I'm still alive and kicking. Have been off for a month and spent time out of the country. Getting the truck ready for winter this week and back to work on Monday. What are the weather and roads doing? When I left at the end of September I hit snow and slush on the way out of town in Glacierview.
I have enjoyed life riding on this and going to seven different countries.
