Welcome to being a company driver. One of the benefits of being a company driver is your using company fuel. I never, repeat never, stayed anywhere except the truck stop of my liking as a company driver, and never heard a peep.
Now this was before e-logs. If you don't have a line 5. Just log out all together. That's what I'd do.

 

If I've got time and can do a 10-er afterward to be on time, I don't ask anymore. They want you to be self sufficient; that's the goal.

 

When I drove for USA Truck they let us drive our tractors around the terminals to places like a hotel or to eat. My last company provided a company car to use and in general prohibited that. Buddy it really depends on the carrier and how they are set up.

 

Yup, and when you get your 500,000 mile chip, (ask your dm) they will upgrade your system to include a line 6 and 7. Line 6 is for when your going home, and line 7.... well we dont talk bout line 7.....

 

Put it on 5, go to Walmart and do your thing, come back to where you were before you went on 5 and put it back to 1.

 

Make sure your on 5 when you drive back from Walmart.

 

We don't even mention line 7 but thanks, hopefully mod can fix this before everybody else realize
