There's no competition, Bc and the governent have seen to that ..

Besides the ACA price is cheaper than your chart you posted (my age group)

Those prices are individual to my state, if you have no competition and are forced into the the ACA, I'd be moving out because you live in a state that's majority ran by Democrats

Best advice ever, I have a new house I built a few years ago, the family, the kids and grand kids live nearby and my best customer is in Tulsa .
Should I throw all that away to save a little money for 6 months?

    whoopNride and SL3406 Thank this.

Medicaid does not have an age requirement. It is based on your income level.
Medicare requires you be age 65, or be on social security disability.
All workers have a deduction from their paycheck of around 1% that helps pay for Medicare.

They are taxed 1.45% directly, and another 1.45% indirectly (the employer "pays" -- which in the extreme case of California means that it costs an employer $13.59 to pay the state's $10 minimum wage, but the employee takes home just $7.50).

But these hidden payroll taxes have become a main source of revenue for the feds:

I am on Kaiser Permanente, $20 copay, $1,500 deductible if hospitalized and admitted in a non-KP Medical Facility, $20 copay for prescriptions. $517 a month, and I do not get a subsidy, nor employer assistance. When I was employed, it was $0, zero a month.
While I don't believe Government should mandate insurance, I do believe that if you choose not to have it you are choosing not to be treated beyond your financial means.

No it was the government, bc/bs only takes advantage of the laws that are created to screw the system up.
