Well in America we are allow to carry firearms but if you're those anti gun people then I guess a bat or wasp spray.

Use your head, park in safe places. You will learn where is not such a good place and what places you can leave the windows down a bit when the weather is nice.

My company doesn't allow firearms, but i have several tools that I use everyday that double as a means of protection. One being an old tire knocked that my grandpa used to use during his days with the teamsters. It's got several gouges in the lead sleeve

So maybe the bigger question is, who has had to defend themselves or their truck, and how did you go about it?

Never had to defend myself, I stayed in truck stop, rest area, customer property, on the street next to a customer and even abandon rest area or just a turnoff area.
