I had 2 backing incidents over a year ago. I pulled my dac this year and nothing was on it. Am I clear or do these companies wait for you to quit?
When do companies add accidents to dac

Not all companies report to DAC.
-
If you apply for another job, they'll likely call your employer - at which time your employer will spill the beans on the 'incidents', which will probably just be sitting in your driver file.
I would disclose everything, so they can see you're not trying to hide anything.
I'm probably reading between the lines on your intentions here, but I figure that's why you're asking. -
Can't enter anything until there is a termination.
-
I've never got a clear answer, but I think when a driver leaves a company that reports to DAC there is a formatted computer entry made. This is where all the information is reported to DAC.
-
You have your DAC trashed when they fire you or you terminate!
-
Companies want to know when you're looking for another job so they can try to hold onto you. They never update your dac when you're an active employee.
-
what company will hire you if u got terminated due to a minor accident?
-
Look around, you will find a few. I mashed green concrete curbing up in Sayre NY at the Vet Clinic there after being ordered to go down into the parking lot with a spread axle. Damage 600 dollars. It was reported but after explaining the situation that day to the new employer there was no problem. Had a awful lot of roofing material for that building that day and the construction boss wanted me down in there which wont fit. Ultimately I got it in there, at a price of his precious curb.

The biggest thing an old company can do that raises red flags are will not rehire comments in DAC. Outside of that if you have a good reason for the negative information or can show that said information is wrong a carrier will in most cases hire you if you otherwise are OK for hire.
