@Bean Jr. Although very funny cause it felt like I was part of the show....

I still don't see a problem. Guys make what they make and a lot of guys aren't comfortable changing jobs so what's Kevin do? tries to change their habits and get fuel mileage upgrades.

I see it so often, truck owners who have no clue. I just talked to a guy last week who was gonna sell his truck because he couldn't get good mileage. The ####ing idiot was hauling cross Canada tandem dry van with a big lug tire that I'd use in the oilfield because "that'd what was on it when he bought it". we exchanged numbers and he's since swapped to a highway rubber and is happier than ever. To me or you, that's just common sense but to a lot of owners, unfortunately they don't have it.

In my line of work we have very large gross incomes, but with that comes massive expenses. In my earlier business days, I've had a $650,000 year but had a net year end loss (after dividend payout) of $35,000. Now after years of fine tuning my business, I can be more profitable than guys out here who gross double what I do.

All Kevin does is teach what may be obvious for some. The scan Guage is a tool to teach better driving habits. Never met a trucker who didn't think his driving was awesome...... I've met guys who couldn't tell me the motor in their truck... more commonly the rear ratio! how the #### can you know how to drive if you don't know what your driving?

Fass should be in every truck that pre high pressure common rail.

@dustinbrock Fass should be in every truck pre high pressure common I am not sure what you wanted to say so if you correct the grammar I may understand better. Thanks

fass systems work great, they improve mpg and power slightly but are real good and smoothing a engine out.

But the newer high pressure common rail injection systems they use today make the fass system not as effective. These newer engines have injection pressures in the 20,000 to 35,000 psi range which is a high enough pressure that it separates the air from the fuel on its own.

I thought that is what you were saying but I wanted to be sure. You are correct. They worked well on the old Cummins and such but my opinion is that they are worthless on the newer engines. If someone would make a GOOD fuel pump to push fuel to the engine I think that would be an improvement worth doing.

KR is not what he used to be. Now he thinks he is a world class nutritionist trying to get people to munch on hydrochloric acid tablets etc etc. Just another way for KR to hawk more junk on his website.

Bruce told me not to bother with it. Along with a lot of the other junk Kevin pumps on his show.

My feelings to KR have become ambiguous too. KR is a good show to listen to as an entertainment. Not because of some silliness or anything detrimental in his show, it's just a nice time killer. He got me on his scan gauge some time ago (paid over $200 in IA 80 TA), I have to admit he's a good salesmen. The contents of the show are OK for those starting up, especially to be able to appreciate to importance of knowing the numbers. Only by knowing them you know what you can and cannot do. Also I agree with his opinion on brokers, whether you hate them or love them, they are there, and someone pays them money. If someone pays someone money that means there is a reason for that. But yes, my impression lately is also that he wants to sell staff including food supplements, business apps, accounting service, perhaps survival kits so on. His seminars too... What the hell can I learn there? How to ask a broker to a lunch and persuade him/her to like me? Or the negotiation skills...like what? How to sound nicely over the phone? Well... It is not that far in Council Bluffs, IA maybe I should try it for the hell of it.
