    Hey guys,

    I just made this account literally 5 minutes ago and I'm looking for some helpful insight/feedback from someone with experience trucking short haul. I happened to land my first interview with a trucking company and I'm really curious to know what sort of questions I should expect from them. I'm 25 and this will also be my first trucking job, if I happen to get it. Just also curious to know all the small details of what exactly a short haul trucker will do with his/her routine? I understand more of the pre trip procedures/air break tests and road rules, but was just looking for some good insight of possibly my near future.

    I figured they would have me doing regional runs with a 24 ft Hino box truck.

    The 2 hinos we have ride a thousand times better than freight shakers... and my corn fed has those solid rubber deallys... if i have at least 6 or 7 tons on, smooth as glass... any less... yeah.... pissin blood...

    I had gotten issued a merchedes box, I think the #### thing was like a 14 foot box with a strange 5 speed on the floor. And my face against the windshield glass looking at the beautiful gravel poured into that concrete plate. boing boing boing boing back baltimore I went. Hit a bridge CREAASH CRASH CRASH CRASH all the way across.

    I got on my knees and threw up after only 30 minute trip. I swore by all things holy I will never touch another like that again as long I live. Even typing about this my tummy did a flip....

    Side note here you can just buy zofran. After my surgery I went back on pain meds and have to take phenegran with it but my surgeon used zofran prescription didn't know I could have bought it.
