What's the Deal with these Log truck drivers?

I'll bring my dashcam up and film them. Within a week they will be driving by the rules and regs.

 

I,I've been on I-5 part of the day, didnt see any logging trucks doing whats mentioned. it's raining, a couple of dryvans and reefers in a semi hurry. that's about it.

part of 97 may have some snow, doesnt look like all of it does. I'm not ruining up and down the 5 day in day out. when I hit the 5, day or night, there's certainly going to be trucks that pass me.

 

Depends on what part of the United States Of America you are Trucking in. I tip my cup of coffee to some of those drivers for sure. You have to drive into the job and see what these guys have to do. No way would I go up there in the winters. I hitch about chaining up. Shoot that is nothing.

 

Came up out of Cali yesterday and Trip check (OR 511) said 97 was clear State line to Bend and packed snow on OR58 so opted for I5 roller coaster over the US97 & OR 58 route.

Traction tires allowed

nothing about trucks

be sure chain up on the 58

 

They need to get the logs to the mill before their moisture content gets too low. //sarcasm.
