Got a parking Citation

Here's an idea for you in that situation...OP...call the local police dept when you plan to park like that....ask and record the answer/call....play back if they say no problem by officer on phone, or if your not in your truck, and ticket is left on truck, let the lawyer/judge listen to it....lol

 

Nonsense. If I spit on a sidewalk while clearing my throat and somebody gives me a ticket, I'll be pissed, that's for #### sure. And do not even begin to think that this isn't some real ordinance somewhere in America. The sad part is, this poor guys parking ticket is INEXCUSABLE...because some of these laws are NONSENSICAL. Spewing to the "kid" that his complaining is somehow whining in an entitled way is just arrogance.

Some...I mean MOST of these parking laws aren't safety issues, they're just greedy aholes trying to make a buck for the city. Yes some of them are democratically created, doesn't make them any less stupid or pointless.

Blind monkey law lovers annoy me.

Why are you in a association?

Every time I hear about a Housing Association I see socailism. Move to a free state buy your own home and lands free from oversight and control of what color paint or high grass cut etc.

Ive got mountains of parking tickets. Some without my name on it. Some paid. Ive made police stand around my tractor trailer a few hours before i went out to take the chewing and tickets. I don't get paid to fight it in court. I get paid to be loaded and rolling.

In fact certain people know my rig back in the day parked somewhere, get the number off it and get through to me saying there is a heavy wrecker on the way to get it. How fast can I get to it eh? No police, just me and wrecker coming on at 70 mph. Im gone with it.

So carry your own BOL pad and make up a fake bol....there now...go park accordingly. ..good to go, ...just throw a pallet of something in the box and you've got your new light load n bol ta boo.....hee hee

 

If you fight it, you would be fighting it on principal.
But fight it I would.
I park on the street out in front of my place in California. There is no posting against parking. and it is a verified truck route. City said there was no problem, so there are several of us that park along this section during our 34.
If you got a citation for parking, some drivers on here would tell you just to pay it and go on your way.
I personally would go to court, not because of the fine, but because of the principal.
There is no posting, there have been other trucks there before. Unless it is posted, then you have just cause to fight it.
Bottom line is, your truck is probably registered out of state, and the cops know that most drivers wont fight, they just pay. free money. As soon as drivers quit being passive and start fighting, then these cops will stop making free money on us.

 

I got a 300+ parking ticket in the wonderful city of Compton CA. Pay it and move on.. cut your losses lol...
