And why you want it in a check in bag?

mean regular luggage, not carry on.

That is why I'm asking, to be sure before going there.

Thing to do is call the airline up or go to their website. Its beyond me why you haven't already done that rather then asking the forum.Blackshack46, d281833 and CrappieJunkie Thank this.

Lepton1, Blackshack46, street beater and 1 other person Thank this.

Calling the airline and being put on hold for who knows how long is not a joy. But what is beyond me is people like you who get on here and are negative all the time and answer questions with stupid comments like this. If you don't know the answer, then don't comment. You negative people kill this forum. Its like you people are mad at your job or company, so you take it out on people on here, very sad. This is directed at pattyj.

I would think it is no different from carrying a lap top, cpap or any other electronic device with an internal battery. Check TSA's website for prohibted devices.

Thanks! Have checked website and found nothing that says no, just trying to be cautious.
