    Two questions:
    1) How did it take six months for that video to get out and Crete not know about it in the meantime?

    2) Do you think it had something to do with Nikki leaving as the Wilmer terminal manager yesterday?

So since this was posted in 2013 and over 700 pages long...some people finally come to the conclusion that Crete (another crap mega) sucks....
My concern is that with some drivers it took this long to figure this out and there they are driving 80,000lbs down the road.

    True Story:

Had a truck towed into Indy where they misdiagnosed a slipping fan belt as low coolant and sent me away. Truck beaks down again and Wilmer tells if I don't drive a temporary truck immediately they won't pay for anything. I catch a ride with another driver to a terminal and am told, due to the severity of breakdown, I'm getting assigned a new truck and they will route me back through where my truck is so I can offload my stuff eventually. I wait two days and am just getting assigned the new truck when a rookie driver calls me to tell me Crete paid for his rental car to drive out to my old truck, and that he is driving to the terminal I'm at (with all my valuables inside) and that I'll need to move my stuff off of HIS truck.

When he arrived I told him to get the #### out of my truck. He ended up taking the piece of crap International they were trying to assign me.

Any common sense reason Crete couldn't have waited the 24 hours to find out the "serious problem" was just a slipping fan belt?!?

    Crete shop supervisor at work

It's not just Crete. Over here at Magnum, where many have high praise for the shop, it isn't much better. Had to have a cam replacement (under a wide spread engine recall). PACCAR engines have to be removed for that. Fuel mileage drops .5-.75 mpg after that. (Part of our pay rate evaluation involves fuel mpg). A couple months later, I take it to the shop for it's B service. They do a valve adjustment, change the oil, replace batteries and send me to the dealer for a Wingman calibration. (OnGuard like crap). Get to Pete dealer and I am told that I am low on oil (after it just came out of the company shop for an oil change). They top it off, align the Wingman, and I'm on my way. Now, I have dropped another 1 full mpg, my Wingman falses at overpasses, traffic lights, Exit signs...and my low volt cutoff now kills my interior power AFTER my APU starts at least 1 or 2 times a week. Sounds like Crete's maintenance department is following suit with the overall decline of the whole trucking industry...

    Probably something like this......

Girl In Office That Knows Nothing About Trucks (GIOTKNAT) :Hey mechanic how long will it take to repair Deadwood's truck?

Mechanic In Shop That Knows A Tiny Bit About Trucks (MISTKATBAT): About three or four days

GIOTKNAT: OMG that's a very severe breakdown!

GIOTKNAT: Mr. Deadwood please be so kind as to ride with the filthiest of all truck drivers to fetch your brand new truck at a terminal as far away as I could possibly find one and wait two days

MISTKATBAT: ooops we missed the slipping fan belt. All fixed.

GIOTKNAT: hey Brand New Truck Driver take a rental car to fetch your newly assigned truck full of someone else's personal belongings and drive to a terminal as far away as possible to let Mr Deadwood recover his personal belongings.

BNTD: ummm ok...arrives at terminal far far away Mr. Deadwood get your crap outta my truck! NOW!

Mr Deadwood : haha let's see how this will play out.......

Doing some research for a project. Anyone remember the assistant manager at North Salt Lake quite a few years back (maybe 10+) who was busted running a CDL racket on the side and went to prison? What is his status now? Also, is JK still the terminal manager there or has she been promoted? Thanks for any input.

The one nice thing is both tend to doze off within 20 or so miles, so it's almost like my normal day...just me and my thoughts

Woke up to the message about following the fuel solutions, then my low fuel warning light came on 63 miles from my first "solution". Not sure how far it'll go with the light on, I chickened out and pulled into a Pilot for 50 gallons. Was a tight little Pilot with no parking and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the guy blocking the pump to move so it actually seemed like a regular fuel stop.
