Dropped in Midway, TN at the Walmart DC last night, now I'm sitting at the Davy Crockett TA with no loads available.

    No bra but with pants?
    Seems a bit.. I don't know.

Sex seems a bit more difficult with pants on.

My current load is about 650 miles. It picked up on Friday and delivers at 1330 on Monday.
2 other Swift drivers had the exact same thing - from the same place to the same place.

It is that time of year, and probably not wise to turn down loads with too much time on them.
If lucky it can deliver early. If not, at least you get some miles.
But trying to hold out for a better load might mean sitting for days. And after you turn down a load there is no layover pay.

A ton of truck drivers coming back to work next week too, truck stops will be full of unloaded trucks calling dispatch looking for loads, perfect time to take off for your 'Christmas/New Years 1st week of the year.

    FerrissWheel and FLCRACKER Thank this.

I pulled in to my delivery just behind another Swift driver that I had met at our pickup.
He had a pplan, I still don't well into the evening.

He hadn't responded to it yet because it was going to Minneapolis, MN, and it was going to be 2 degrees there tomorrow night. He was planning to just ignore it.
Not even any snow, just cold.

At home all day. 16min, 10min, 5min on hold at different times trying to get a DL in Gary. 8min on hold for a planner in Manteno. Memphis said they'd message the planners. Oh well.

Yes, well... it is that time of year.
The planners don't need the hassle of drivers calling and demanding a load. Neither do the DM's.
