I'm in need of a good dashcam. Something that's always recording and when an incident happens hit a button to permanently save the previous minute or two and the next minute or two after hitting the button.

    What are you guys using?

I've got a Garmin dash cam 30. Worked good for 6 months. Good picture quality, endless recording, picture taking mode, g-sensor in it trips if the camera gets jarred and it saves footage for a couple minutes prior to the event. Was really happy with it and then it just decided to just reboot in an endless loop. Probably didn't like being exposed to -35 during most of this winter. I bought the extended 4 year warranty though so we'll see what the turnaround time is to get it fixed.

Garmin, i had it for years now, atleast 3 years. Still work and save my ### a few time.

The problem i been seeing is that the screen will turn black after staying on for weeks but turning it off and on or reformating the sd card fix it.

I have Vico-Opia2 dashcam on my windshield. I really like it. Tried many of them. The best dashcams are DOD LS370w/470W and Vico-Opia2 models($200-250). You can check online forums about this dashcams. They are high end class models. Vico-Opia2 can record 4k UltraHD. Be careful when buying them. The market is full of low quality clones.

Where do buy a good dashcam? I use to have one but it didn't work well. It was crappy as ####. This guy that I bought from said, "buy these dashcam, it's work's real good". Well, that I was a big fat ####ing lie. Never trust people selling their own #### for sale. Thank you for anybody who help's me finding a good dashcam instead a piece of ####.
