I follow my companies fuel route but if I putting fuel in Im FILLING the tank and if your company is cheap enough to pull the amount of fuel you can put in crap then time to find a new company. Fuel is cheap compared to lost revenue due to a truck running out and having to wait on road service.

No need to siphon if you have one of these..

So, as it turns out, the mechanics who did my last pm didn't tighten the fuel filter cap all the way. Today it decided to get loose enough to get sucking air and leaking fuel.

Not buying it....
Try another story....Roberts450, peterd and QuietStorm Thank this. -
didn't notice all the fuel on the ground while doing a pretrip?
you know, the thing you suppose to do before your trip....its call a.....pre........tripQuietStorm Thanks this. -
True story.
It wasn't leaking yet at that time. Yes I pretrip if that's what you're suggesting I didn't do. As stated earlier I didn't have much fuel so it didn't take very long once it started. -

2 tanks, were you sitting really level? If I'm running close to Mt I'm very careful of that.
Cold can make tanks draw funny, too, as in taking out of 1 mostly and returning to the other. The 1 taken out of runs empty pretty fast.
I haven't had that trouble but another driver with same setup as I have has. -
Keep your tanks full in winter
drvrtech77 and TequilaSunrise Thank this. -
Just put 145 gallons in at the Love's..... That was a lot of fuel and the roads are nuts right now. Eastbound 90 near Cle Elum has been shut down for a while! Thanks for the reminder about the fuel.
Not letting it get below 3/8 tank all winter starting nowQuietStorm Thanks this.
