.........girlfriend gone for the weekend so I was cleaning my house, in Tallahassee, Florida. I ran across a book. I started driving otr in 1999. I was at the truckstop in Wildwood,Florida. I asked an owner operator if he needed help. He was having truck problems. He asked me my name and pulled out a pen and wrote something. He then handed me an autographed book he wrote, which had written by a trucker on it. The book was called "The Icon Cowboy" presents volume II Political Promenade. I thought that was pretty cool. I wonder how he's doing.

You sure your not the author trying to sell the book? lol kidding
Anyways sounds pretty cool... -
yes I'm sure. No I'm not the author.
-
I have two of his books, met him just outside of St. louis. he's for real.
gixxer32404 Thanks this. -
I'm curious what happened to him. How long ago did you meet him? Did he sign your book, too?
-
That was a very good read. I would think one would have a lot of time to write while out on the road. I read that many drivers are waiting several hours to get loaded. It would seem an ideal time to put your pen to the page.....

I met him at a truckstop just east of sait louis in about 1998 or 99. used to have a e-mail for him but can't find it. might try the people who published the book, or the printers.

-
Any one else met him???
