Same exact thing happened to me. I had the abs light come on the dash. I was really close to losing the whole hub.

You can check for loose wheel bearings on a set of dual tires, just like you do on the steer axle. Take a bottle jack, jack it up, stick a bar under the tires or into holes in the rim and try to rock it up and down.

It's a great thing to do as part of your oil change. Another reason to do oil changes yourself, if you can.

No, I'm following a process to build it.. Starting with starter vendors, then going from there.. It's gonna take about a year to get it where I need it to be though...

What would be better for a team at mercer. Van, flat, or step

Are contracts you signed in your business name ONLY with no personal recourse on your part? Most every place you deal with is still going to look at your personal credit, not 'business credit'. I would concentrate on whatever problems you have in your personal credit and get them straightened out. Unfortunately there is no quick fix, it takes time for bad things to age off your report or to be counted less. And work on correcting anything that is inaccurately reported although that can be a very frustrating process at times.

    Step IMO but...

Best case? Married team with a military background and no tickets.

You will not get a ton of team freight on the board that you can see. But that's just like you won't see a ton of conastoga freight. It's out there, but we are so few that agents don't waste their time posting it. There is a load out of Cali that only one truck in the Mercer fleet can load. It got posted so I assume he was available. It ran the bored.

However let me say that a 48' flat is probably the best for most.

Remember Teams, DD, conastoga ........ we all are a bit different. I know that agents will call teams and ask if they can take a load. They may never post it on the board. But a super solo load will hit the board.

A team outfit we are not. However a married team can do very well here.

Of course they do. But that is a season, I would think they are asking about year round. And think about it.... the married teams do well at xmas time.

Anyone and everyone can do well here. But anyone and everyone will have to do some footwork. Nothinging is handed to you. Sorry this might be a rant from another thread.Z
