    Anybody ever pick up here? They had me drop my trailer on the drop lot and told me they would call when it was loaded. That was an hour ago and it's still sitting.

    Yes... that place is bad about not calling you. Every 2 hours call and ask.. it will more then likely be close to drop time before it's ready.

    Frozen chicken. Calls for +15 continuous. They just came and got my trailer. Delivers in Ocala FL tomorrow morning and I haven't started my log yet so I should be OK.

    I just looked at the driver instructions again and it says fresh chicken. That +15 has me thinking it's ice packed. I sure as he'll hope not.

    Better start looking for the nearest washout near your drop. That chicken slime gets nasty after a couple of hours with the reefer turned off.

    Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be prepackaged instead of ice packed. I haven't hauled that stuff in over 20 years. I wasn't even sure if they still ice packed chicken.

    Redforman tried to tell me there's nothing to it but I still reject a lot of these fresh chicken loads weekly. Nope, not interested. Too much headache. Maybe if I get hungry but I ain't there just yet...

    No ice but it's 20# boxes. Hopefully it won't bleed all over my trailer. The shipper marked the bills +28 but the broker insisted the customer wants it at +15. I'm already at the drop waiting for them to open in the morning. We'll see then.
