C15 acert water in oil.

    We have a c15 acert that dumped aprox 3 gal of water in the oil pan while setting 2 months after harvest. So we drug it in the shop and pulled the pan off and had a slight drip of coolent coming from oil pickup tube. (Drip was the new coolent because what we put in was a different color ) been setting in the heated shop and it will not leak again. I'm leaning towards oil cooler but I'm no cat mechanic. Any thoughts?

    Check for a leak in the head. I had a tiny rubber O ring in the head that seeped coolant.

    Since you said it seemed out of pickup tube, pull oil filter and see if it dripps out of filter head. Its right below cooler and I have done this to narrow down a similar leak

    I have pulled the filter it was 1/2 -3/4 full of water. By the way it's always been separated never has made milky looking oil

    If it hasnt ran it will be seperated. See if it drips out of head and it would be from cooler. If its still in pan area its from water pump or head. May have to turn off heater in shop to get it leaking again. Amazing how a little change In temp can affect a small leak

    Ya,unfortunately,those heads will more than likely need to "Come Off"

    Oil cooler would put oil in the coolant. Oil has higher pressure than coolant forcing it in the coolant system. It would not allow coolant in the oil. Sorry but coolant in oil is gonna be in the motor

    You need to pull the oil pan and do a pressure test this will show where the coolant is leaking. Good news is anything can be fixed
