What's the norm for cross country expedited team reefer freight?

Whip. Most Reefer is 900 to 1500 miles. 2 bucks to 6 bucks depending. More picks more money and head aches. Stay away from stuff that has to be minus 10 to 20 degrees makes unit work hard.

You got to hook up with a company that has the contacts or you will be in happy.

I'll get solo reefer loads from Washington to Florida paying between $6,000-7,000. I know team loads in reefer can pay really good, especially the high value loads. Cross country meat loads pay really well since there's a pretty short expiration date on fresh meat.

I'm being offered a position pulling steps, but with the occasional reefer or van run. I like tanker, but the money I'm being offered is making me think really hard about making a switch and possibly buying a second truck.

I'm being told the company has a run from IN to NJ 10-12 stops paying around $4,000-$4,500 plus the load pay back to IN / IL

Prolly want to find out the schedule on that: if it is spread out so far on appt times that it takes a week, that's a lot different than it taking 3 days for earning potential.

I run a load from Denver to Claexico CA, then Load out of Yuma AZ back to Denver 5 days work 5700.00 to the truck. Some times a few hundred more depending on the picks. It produce so you got to be on your "A" game or its junk....
