I have made many friends and they will call me and ask about parking in the truck stops or meet for coffee sometimes we will run together when I am off.

I've found the police like us are just human beings (believe it or not) if your polite with them they'll be polite back if you start running your mouth off at them their going to find every excuse in the book to write you up for every fault they can find.

@TROOPER to TRUCKER do cops not have cbs anymore?

A school bus had to get her dispatch to call the cops. I had no signal and nothing but dead air on 9. Even tried upper and lower sideband

My buddy was in Philly and hit a Mercedes that was illegally parked. Cop showed up and started yelling. Cop said he'd told that idiot Mercedes owner to not park there before. Cop told my buddy to just leave. Gotta love it.

I've called 911 before and said I had a non emergency call and didn't know where I was. They transferred me.

I've never had to call the cops to help me out of a jam, but have called in road debris and other unsafe road hazards.

Most CB's have a 9/19 button for quick change to Channel 9 emergency. I used it this AM, saw a flipped over truck at Mile marker 286 westbound and saw police fire ambulance running westbound about 10 miles east of it. I flipped over to CH9 and told them mm286, no response though.
