I am considering Maverick's TCD as well. But, here's what has me stalling: Seven Weeks Before Truck Assignment.
Although I have my CDL-A and previous Reefer Experience (none in the past five years), Maverick needs me to attend Orientation for one week. Then, I will need to attend "Load Securement Class" for two weeks. After completing those three weeks, Maverick needs me to spend four weeks in a Trainer's truck.
So, I'm on the fence. -
Any updates on how many miles TCD is getting weekly?

Are you sure? Its only 1 week load securement, and the other is glass training. ...those thing are unnecessary for tcd. I can recall students who went to tcd didn't take those classes -
I spoke with my recruiter, Kristen, on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, and she outlined the time I would spend there for orientation (one full week), load securement (two weeks, but I don't understand why), and Trainer Time (four to six weeks).
So, unless I misunderstood what Kristen told me, I am fairly certain about the schedule. However, I am open to suggestions and differing schedules.Last edited: Feb 19, 2016

I would call her back making sure that you're talking about tcd and not flatbed. Since maybe she has that line rehearse.
We had a guy in orinatation who was in tcd transfer over to flatbed. He had to take securement training because he never did it. -
She told me the same thing. I even asked her about it and she repeated it. They may need to clear things up with her.

Any new updates on Maverick TCD? Miles, hometime, etc? How much are guys grossing average a week?
