mercer transportation

I just looked at them last night & I don't have a password.

At Schneider we're getting 21 cents per gallon off at pilot/flying j across the board. I noticed Mercer has some that are much bigger & others about the same. Overall I believe you guys get better deals.

 

The password was put in place this afternoon.

I have to laugh (or I'll cry) reading the last couple years of this thread. TruckerPete--I think you and my husband are brothers!! (Or maybe you're his long-lost son as he is pushing 60!). Just like you everything that could go wrong has gone wrong on our truck--but the good thing is our 2005 Freightliner Columbia (Detroit 60 series 13 sp with 1.5 million miles) is now practically new !! Our cup, like Skateboardman, is always half full!! (I must have missed his last posts--did he quit?!!)

 

He got banned for not sugar coating his responses to jackwads.

 

Well that sux!! His posts were so helpful. Hopefully it is not a lifetime ban.

 

I stopped by Mercer Town yesterday for a while to ask a few more questions and get some paperwork I needed from them. Very friendly group. My wife and I were impressed. (I didn't see anyone removing lettering, but I saw several new folks having it put on their trucks.)

 

The reality is we all have the same customers. And the freight contracts with them are within a penny or two of each other. Some of their stuff pays a bit more, some of ours pays a bit more but it's a wash in the end. The deciding factor for me is the people. I would much rather deal with the friendly folks in louisville than the corporate faceless men in jacksonville.

 

Grr.... still no SC permit.....
