Watkins/Shepard Schneider looking for recruits.

They paid me $20 per stop when I worked their LTL furniture routes out of Sayreville, NJ. OTR side was usually just miles. Made a lot more doing the furniture. They paid hub miles which was nice.

 

I spoke with a Tribe Express recruiter a few years back. Everything was sounding good and an orientation date was set. They were to call me back with flight details a few days later. Then they stopped calling or returning my messages. heh. About every six months they send me an email asking me to update my application so they can hire me on. Get bent.

 

We have hired 5 Watkins employees in the last 2 weeks..

They are jumping ship

 

go past W/S every day back and forth from work and all I see is more tractors sitting in the lot do not know if this place is good or not a lot of money sitting there

 

I got the email also, but I'm happy, where I'm at,and have no desire, to hump furniture.

 

I guess theyre desperate for drivers. Not a lot of drivers willing to be o/o for. 95c for them lol

 

No our pay is the same and our checks still say Watkins Shepard and so does my truck. Yes we get 20 a stop for every stop. But people are leaving and they are hiring. Idk if I would call them hard up for drivers. I see about as many coming and going as normal lol. Schneider hasn't messed with to much yet. I'm still doing the same thing and dealing with same people as before.
As far a LTL furniture that's where the money so that's all I do. Yeah it's a little work but worth it.

 

If a Schneider recruiter called you, you would be working for Schneider not Watkins. Watkins has its own recruiters and orientations.

 

..well when we're 'toes up' & buried we'll still be getting these job offers, it's computer generated mailings, someone in IT needs to clean this up shouldn't be too hard to remove old job offer apps by year..
