I'm getting some made from the guy here. They are $125 for everything. The ones they have for free are nice 1 piece decals but I decided to spend the money and get vin#, fire extinguisher, and e log decals put on too.
Plus these decals are not coming off until I decide to get rid of this truck! -
@spyder7723 we are taking our 36-hr break on Thursday, so we are going to do what you've suggested and we'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your help.

For those of you who took advantage of the tire discount, about how much does a good drive tire run with the discount? Right now we have Bridgestone and we have been very happy with them. They have lasted almost 2-1/2 years. We are hoping to get a few more months out of them and then use our discount at Mercer.

I was given till Saturday to be in ohio... that's 5 days to do 1900 miles... hmm

I used the free ones, but after seeing his work (Vince is his name I think) I tried to get him to do mine but I was too late he was already booked up and didn't think he'd have time. Well worth the 125 bucks IMO.
I'm having my plates sent to Mercer, so I might make some arrangements to get him to do some for me.
And the free ones aren't bad or cheap. I just have a red and black truck and a silver and black decal would look sharp versus the silver and blue stock decals.RStewart Thanks this. -
Also keep in mind, the most expensive part of that dash is the instrument cluster. And it's only 450ish new. The problem is taking down exactly what is wrong. I'm leaning towards some loose or corroded connections since they work sporadically.Chickadee Thanks this.

Do not use the free ones. I spent an entire weekend getting those cheap ones off. You will want nicer looking ones after the money is flowing in, so get vince to make you some.RStewart Thanks this.

Lol you are not going to find a better deal then Vince. He did my first truck. I wasn't near Louisville when I bought this truck and had to use the dealers local guy. Cost me $225 or $250 and it didn't look nearly as good as his work.
Did my inspection in Ohio today. Got the truck washed again and it fixed my trailer ABS issue so I passed with no issues. But I expected to as I had my shop check everything when I had it in there earlier this month. I would say six months of freedom but I'll have Louisville do an inspection when I go to MATS.
Stay away from Ohio! Mine, all MINE! Lol. JK I'm not really running the board, just doing conestoga loads only right now. There are some decent flat loads, but I'm being spoiled by these extra short runs. If I don't jump on this run south for the weekend, I'm buying.RStewart Thanks this. -
That will be a good time to get my company name on the doors also then. He sounds very reasonable on price & I've seen some of his work I believe.
