Did you remember to take it out of HIGH range?
Seems I was late to the party, Congratulations! Remember ^^^^Velli, TROOPER to TRUCKER and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
The dot examiner will fail you if you shift in the intersection. So if you start out in 1st or 2nd at a stop sign, you risk impeding traffic like I did on my test as I started out in 1st with a 9 speed.Alaska76, scottied67 and Velli Thank this.

Never heard of this. Shifted plenty through intersections during my test. Only time you can't shift is crossing railroad tracks.Velli Thanks this.

I begin orientation Monday and I will stick with the company as you guys recommended for experience. Also to avoid being in debt of 4000 to them lolKillingTime Thanks this.

Yup, I was told/instructed the same. The school I attended had certified state examiners as our instructors. Shift in an intersection = fail, shift on a RR track = fail, stall = fail.Pumpkin Oval Head and Loose Leaf Thank this.

i have to do some research now. I still don't believe shifting in an intersection is against regs. How do they figure AMT trucks get through intersections? Especially the big mega fleet ones which have the Manual option disengaged.
