Yeah, when my turbo blew (ISX) KW paid almost $20k, I paid like $250. That was just to overnight the parts. I was in Little Rock, AR. Truck was down for about a week total.

Apparently no one wants to deal with the snow. They put out a mass email first thing this morning stating "will entertain all offers" to recover this load...as far as I know, we've had no offers yet.
-
If I was near I would help you out. I'm coming out of Jersey heading to TN. I'm trying to beat the storm. Lol
-
Eh, doesn't bother me. If no one wants it I'll deliver it in 2 weeks. At least then I won't have to pay someone else.
-
Call me. I'll be gentle but can't go in the red on it.
-
I don't expect anyone to lose money, I'm hoping we can find someone willing to bobtail from Louisville, run the load and run one back, drop my trailer in Louisville and grab theirs. If you're serious though, pm me your number and we can see if we can work something out.
-
Pm sent. I REALLY don't want to go to ma, but i don't want to see you get bent over by some jerk either.Razorwyr Thanks this.

How much would it cost to rent a truck for 3 days and deliver it yourself? Maybe more than paying another driver?
-
Lol another option--talk to a truck dealer and tell them you're thinking about buying a truck and can you test drive one for a week (free!!) Not very nice I guess--nevermind LOL
Airborne Thanks this. -
$5k down, $200/day or $1000/week plus an additional $0.18/mile. It's not worth it. I don't see how all these rental trucks make money going up and down the road.Chickadee Thanks this.
