Slightly off topic but when I was a driver at UPS the trucks didn't have power steering. It was company policy for us NOT to cross our hands and arms over each other while turning. You basically had to move the wheel one way so that the next hand could take it over. No crossing. I never saw suicide knobs and I'm willing to bet they didn't allow them.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I tried it one time and it just got in the way too much to be worth the trouble, IMO.
Pumpkin Oval Head, Lepton1 and Boattlebot Thank this. -

When you back up, just turn the wheel a quarter turn at a time, maybe a half a turn at the most, it's easier and you look like a pro.
But if you want to look like a ####### that doesn't know what he's doing. Get a knob and spin that steering wheel from stop to stopBean Jr. Thanks this. -
S
SoSometimes you just gotta spin it -
Nope, pay attention to the drivers that back up that barely turn the steers versus the ones that whip it from full right to full left to full right to full left to full right to full left to full right to full left to full right to full left to full right to full left to full right to full left to full right to full left.Lepton1 Thanks this.
