Hit and Run...I need your help

You took the pictures its hard to read the dot numbers

 

There is a preferred trucking service.Too bad you can't read the plate number you could file a police report.

I would call them with the trailer number and let them know a truck with their trailer hit your mirror and did not stop. Ask them who has it, maybe even tell them you are being a nice guy, but the driver has 1 hour to call you and make it right or you will have the police file a hit and run report.

 

Did you call the cops?

 

Hope it all works out for you (your cam caught the accident) but if he doesn't admit fault it's your word against his...

 

1st thing you always do is call the law. Provide them with the pics and let then do their job.

Had a similar instance happen to me couple of years ago.
I was in the right lane and a big truck passed me on the shoulder because he was too impatient to wait for the 4 wheeler in the left lane to finish passing me.
He tore of my passenger mirror and scared the crap outta my wife. Lol

Called 911, filed report and as I was finishing with state police, they notified me they caught the guy.....And when they asked him if he did it, he said "yep, I gotta go." They asked him if he knew he hit me, again, "yes, not my problem."

That earned him a shiny pair of hand cuffs and a ride somewhere. Felony hit and run.

 

You didn't call it in and pursue him?

 

You do know a felony hit and run has to involve an injury to a person.Just vehicle damage isn't a felony.Really doubtful he was arrested
