It is easy to sign up on youtube with a username and password. Then just hit the upload button and choose the video file to upload. Publish it and copy/paste the video internet address in this thread. We could then see in the high resolution what you recorded and maybe someone will recognize the truck/trailer company. Time/date/location is critical too.

Got it...thanks

Update on this hit and run:
"Preferred" out of Georgia gave me a VIN on the trailer. I turned it over to the police but they did nothing with it so I rolled up my sleeves;
Hired a private investigator...for $65 got a name and address for the owner - some guy out of Florida;
Went to the Florida Secretary of State website and input the name and address and got a hit for a small trucking company
Input the company name into the FMCA website and got the USDOT and MC
Did some more research and found several numbers...first 2 didn't work...the third was active but no answer so I sent a text with the dash cam Footage and pics from the hit and run...still no response
I found an email and forwarded the same info there
Called back on the number and a lady answered...claimed she was the girlfriend and he didn't speak English...claimed trailer was sold (bull)
Next day insurance agent calls claiming to represent the hit and run guy
Mailing me $3800 for damages and lost Freight (repair estimate was about $1000)
Not bad for a trucker doing his own research.
I couldn't have done it without your help.
Lots of thanks. Be safe -
Right on!!!! Good job tracking it down. I hope you get the check and can cash it!

Missed the post and hate Law Enforcement didn't help much at all. -
It does piss you off, doesn't it. But you and I, and anybody else that's ever worked law enforcement know there are huge differences between agencies.
Sometimes it is poor administration (that's my favorite one to blame.)
Sometimes it is pure lazyness.
Sometimes it is flat out too much work for the number of coppers to handle everything, so they have to prioritize.
However, I still like poor administration! When they allow cops to RIP (Retire In Place,) guess what, it's an administration problem! When they don't field enough troops to handle whats going on, it's an administration problem! When they don't have enough personnel hired to man the department, it's an administration problem. You get the picture.TROOPER to TRUCKER, TripleSix and UsualSuspect Thank this. -
