Back before the app and elog My coordinator always used my truck number if there was no bol#. So after the app came along i just did the same.

 

On the omnitracks screen for changing your status, it's one of the tabs way over to the right.

Not sure on other systems.

They advised us that you get what you pay for and gently pushed us toward getting the omnitracks. I think about half of us got the omnitracks. It's a lot of money, but hopefully we'll be glad we bought it.

 

Glad until it turns into a paperweight.

 

Ive always thought it was the opposite? Log 15 minute pre-trip and your good to go. I'm local and on E-Logs and that's what we have to do, no post trip.

 

I don't understand. Do you mean if we should decide to leave Mercer and no longer need it? Hopefully that won't happen and we'll be here until we retire.

 

At our last company it was $150 per month to rent it (a Qualcomm with all the bells and whistles). Needless to say we are happy to now only pay $30 per month (after the first $700 investment).
