Carroll Fulmer

A and R transport allows a $300.00 advance per week for company drivers. I've been here almost three years and haven't taken ONE advance!

 

Load Saturday from Beaumont TX to Social Circle Georgia for Monday am delivery (746) miles. Deadhead back to Highlands TX (812) miles empty. I gross 700 dollars by Tuesday night. I still have Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday and part of Sunday to do more loads to add to a one week check. Company driver.

I had one guy tell me he made .16 a mile there, and he thought it was great money.... took everything I had to keep from falling on the floor laughing.

 

Well I know that's not true they start you with .35 cpm I know that's not great but a start I haven't been otr for almost 2 yrs

 

I should've included the guy said he was making .16 at England. Was referring to the quote.
