    Poly is finally coming around.

Last month they finally got pre-pass for tolls and weigh stations.

This week they got their first shipment of new peterbilts. Auto transmissions.

    Beautiful trucks!!!!

They have real mattresses not those standard trucker mattresses. Apu's and power inverters.

Nice shelf for an a/c microwave; 2 a/c plugs.

    Beautiful trucks!!!

You can tell peterbilt thought the layout through.

They designed the interior with the trucker in mind .... just the opposite of international trucks.

    WTF???

I just realized these trucks only have 1 drive axle, followed by a tag axle.

Does that make sense to anyone?

Some clients and even a rare service bay will be sloped in such a way that the drive tires are off the ground n you need both drive axles, not to mention mud and snow.

Well, I put 174k on Magnum's Pete and the only real issue I had with it was the Paccar engine had a defect with cams and had to replace it. Hope ya'll have just as good of luck with the new Cummins.

I hope the keys arent all the same like the internationals.

It was bad enough all the poly internationals used the same key, but ..... i was surprised a few months ago when a guy from another co. Approached me at a trk stop and asked if i would unlock his door for him.

    What????

" Youve got an international and so do i."

    So????

He told me ALL internationals are keyed the same.

I told him he was crazy. But i tried my key and sure enough, it opened his truck.

Our next group of new trucks is rumored to be the Prostar's replacement, the LT. Supposedly a total make over of the Prostar. Cummins 15 ltr motors and all autos. It will be interesting to see what they look like and how they run.
