Q: does anyone store/use a small cart to wheel tarps back to tarp box after folding? Ive seen 2 different drivers do this. Not hand carrying but wheeling with a tiny grandma cart. At first I laughed. But now I'm wondering.. maybe not a bad idea.

I try to lay them on the ground so that when I get them rolled up they are near the box anyway. Better yet I try to haul loads that don't need to be tarped.

    Tarp box?

I roll mine up 50 feet from the truck, then carry them and store on top of the headache rack.

    Then, if I haven't had a seizure or stroke - I allow a quick photo shoot and interview from Men's Fitness . . .

Tell that driver that my grandma is missing her cart . . .

I try to roll them up on the empty deck and have them right above the box. Climb down and swing them into the box. A cart would be one more thing to Cary around and store. The hardest part is picking them up. If I have to pick them up to put them on a cart and then agian take them out of the cart seems like 2x the work. I only carry 4' tarps so maybe I'm wrong?

I had a hand cart when I did 18' wide building to Texas for the simple reason even though it was a three piece tarp each piece folded up weighed 150 pounds. You call it a sissy cart, I call it using my brain and saving my back.

A buddy of mine is 40 years old. Had both hips replaced. He has a 2 wheel cart for hauling tarps. Said it was one of the smartest things he ever bought
