It's going well. I did better than expected my first week & it was better than what I was doing at Schneider.

Since the tractors I pulled a load of cabinet grade plywood to Lexington, ky. Today I loaded the same load I hauled last Friday, jasper, IN to PA. Right now I'm at the yard chilling & doing a 34.

I probably could've went just 37 as I rarely run west but I went ahead & plated for 48 incase I do want to go out there.

 

It's nice having a yard with facilities you can use isn't it?

 

Lol, it's one email every morning that gives troublesome weather areas. It's not everytime i turn around. No bother at all. And on the calls, it's their job. They are kind of required to do so, if calls are about loads that don't meet requirements, raise your parameters. But they are simply doing their job.

 

That's a lot of stopping to look at board, Lol

 

She just became my coordinator in December, I'm still training her. My previous coordinator was awesome, but he changed departments. She's getting better, and I don't mind them doing their job at all. Don't get me wrong, I don't get angry, I just don't like to be bothered at work and never have. She is part of my work, so it's ok. As far as the emails go, I would get uses to it, but I don't have a need for my inbox getting clogged up, I check the weather anyway. It's just another redundancy.

 

The facilities are fabulous. Schneider had more facilities with amenities but none were as nice as Mercertown & the people here are the big difference.

 

My 7+ months at Mercer have been great.
I miss my cash customers and the ones who don't 1099 me though!
I see a need for more tax deductions!
Tax lady and I need to talk!
