Yes , you did miss my point. They HAVE to call. If a load matches to you , even if there is snowball chance in heck you will take it, they have to call. It's why you now get a call sometimes from a random person about freight you already passed over. It's simply a way to possibly cover more loads. A subtle change but a change nonetheless. I have here well long enough to know how you set things with your coordinator on what they call about, but i am trying to point out there is a reason why this is happening, regardless of what agreements with her you have in place.

This is not true with all coordinators when they frist started this I went to coordinator and explained that I didn't want to be called on loads he knows I won't take it waste my time and if they want to push it my phone ringing for a waste is a driving distract problem solved

 

I know on a rare occasion my coordinator will call me on a BS load. I can hear it in his voice when he is being pushed to Call. I know he hates it cause it pisses me off. But I know sometimes he has to. When fill ins start calling I just shut down that phone. They just really waste my time so I won't talk to them. At least my coordinator knows to tell me the two best loads coming out of a forced load. I'm more then willing to help Mercer out, but there better be a load out.

 

So are you guys saying that occasionally you are "forced" to take certain loads?
