The book says to keep your hands on the opposite sides of the steering wheel. Could be 9 and 3 or 12 and 6 or any other combo that keeps your hands 180 degrees apart on the steering wheel.

So I guess holding my coffee cup while driving is not a good thing? Too bad.

We also have video clearly showing that you were outside of your truck while logged in the sleeper.

    Grubby and scottied67 Thank this.

two hands on the steering wheel all the time, and a camera facing me? This cannot be serious. I'd rather be a janitor than put up with this.

fargonaz, tinytim and EZ Money Thank this.

I drove 3 weeks for a company after they installed the cams.....
The safety guy listened to our phone calls and watched us like a hawk.....Then was pissed if we were on the bluetooth for more than a couple minutes.

I had a frozen load on I picked up in NC and delivered the next morning in Arkansas.....
I stopped one time that day, fueled, fast shower and scaled the truck.
Got a sandwich to go and went back to the truck to roll....

I had about 10 missed calls from him and several messages from the dispatcher...
Wanting to know why my 30 minute break took 41 minutes...
I hammered all day, made my delivery with 3 minutes of drive time left.

Got a load home and cleaned out my truck.....
NEVER again will I drive for an outfit with cameras....
I cussed that camera and gave them the finger all the way home!
