Was the name of my late dad's Cessna. It's a tribute. Guess you are correct, tho. The G13 .. he was a Gunner's mate.

Was a '59 172... i'm left handed and color blind. 2 out of 3 strikes.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
For military and the big passenger carriers. But thwart won't stop ya from flying private or even a small cargo plane.
A 172 is a nice ride. I had an '86 a36 bonanza fitted with the garmin1000 avionics. Sadly it had to go with all my other toys when the market fell out the winter of 07.Dave_in_AZ, not4hire and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
Mom sold my dad's when he passed; I was 13. I was born in 61. Bummer for me. Bonanzas are nice; we still go to the airshows...Daughter may go in to the USAF... daredevil she is, LoL. Couldn't find a way to get back in, without military and/or a license. Too old to learn now; wife's afraid of heights, anyway...LoL.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Nice! We just put that in a Twin Otter.

Its a ##### to learn but you will love it once you learn it. can't hardly call it an avionics package, Its a full bore flight computer that offers pretty much everything the big boys got.

I heard they need a load of pumpkins and melons up there...... lolG13Tomcat and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

I wouldn't want to go without a firearm. A rifle. I'd hate to get eaten.
