I was considering stopping at the one in Moriarity New Mexico recently but I read a number of negative reviews. A place where strippers go to die, more than one said.

Nope. I rolled those two skids right through the front in the middle of the day.

Some of my best times in the Army were at a full nude strip club in San Juan PR.... Funniest part was buying the bible thumper in our group a lap dance, and watching him pretend not to enjoy it.
passingthru69 and Bakerman Thank this. -
If my memory serves me correctly, I believe there are many "adult entertainment" places on I-44 MO... I never parked at any... Not interested in that but at times, I could have used their parking... However, the companies I worked and work for don't allow that. One time, I took my 10 at a welcome center on I-44 in MO... I used to pull Walmart trailers... and my load planner called early in the morning asking if I was at a strip club... "No", I said and asked why... she answered someone had called the company saying there was a Walmart truck there and she knew there were a few of us in that area....

I did something similar for a friend of mine. Sometimes going with a group of buds is part of the fun.
(Course I'm old now and don't really give a #### about what anyone thinks anymore.)
Again, people getting themselves into OUR personal business! And people wonder why we want 24/7 pay under a load? Because we're never REALLY off duty! Wouldn't it be great if you could call a politician at home in bed at 3 am and let them know what you think of a local bridge clearance? Or the architect that laid out the tight dock you have to back into? -
I had a discussion with a terminal manager who was also a dispatcher some years back. Her reply was that company image, safety, and corporate culture plays a big part on how an OTR truck driver is instructed where he or she can go, as far as parking and patronizing various establishments are concerned.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
OTR & LTL - over the mountains - through the woods - coast to coast - sea to shining sea
The OTR & LTL truck drivers of America are positively the driving force of our economy.Rocks Thanks this. -
I can relate. My first year in the Marine Corps had me at world famous Camp Pendleton. A couple of strip joints in Oceanside were fun for us young boots, but often on weekends I'd ride the Grey Dog down to Dago (that's San Diego for the civilian types) Out in the sports arena area was a no alcohol but all bare club. Beautiful young college girls earned their book money as they kept us entertained.passingthru69 Thanks this.
