Yeah from what I heard, it was costing Brent a lot of money maintaining those trucks and old trlrs used in the GOP shag. And since they did not want to give him more money to help cover the higher costs, he gave the shag back to GOP. I know the truck I was driving, whenever it would break down, they had to special order the parts, very expensive Mike told me.
See I didn't leave to find better pasture than at GO, I did the research, and not many could match what drivers are getting there, I left because once the freezer was built over at GOP, I would have been out of a job, they have 5 shag drivers now, when the freezer is up and running, they will cut that in half as they won't need the GOP trailers anymore, and the only trailers being moved will be the OTR GOX and other trailers from outside carriers. Three guys can handle that.

 

That's a good deal.

 

Someone told me that next to GO, Hills Bros was a good company to go to if you want to lease.

 

Made it to Omaha this afternoon. I got to pick the car I wanted at National Car Rental in St Louis. A Nissan Altima was right up front so I chose that. I didn't wanna be a total terd and have them dig me out something in the back. Good car it was actually very comfortable and I made it to Omaha with gas to spare so that's cool. Drove by Greater O before I came to the hotel just so I know where I'm going in the morning. Orientation is at 7:30 so I'm just hanging out til then. Hopefully it goes good tomorrow!
