The beautiful blue Pete's come at a price. .35 to start with min 3 years experiance I'll pass.

 

Wow they were at. 32cpm when I looked them up for my cousin a few years back. And the only pete's that matter are the ones that look like the one above my name

 

What works for one person, might not work for someone else. Most of us are looking for a custom fit in an off the rack business. I just left a small company (45 trucks) after a month and a half because of HOS issues. The people were great, but I felt the way they operated was not, so I am looking again.

 

Agreed beautiful fancy fast trucks don't pay the bills do it? Some folks will never get it. You are right, on the money.

 

There will always be a company willing to exploit you.

 

Oh I know that, when I first started OTR and I saw them I looked into them and was very turned off by the pay... Such a scam.. who knows if they offer other pay insensitives but I don't want to find out lol.

 

The solo sleepers seem to be happy also. They only run out of the main terminal Wilmington. Solo linehaul cant take team runs since they are home daily. They have set bid runs so if they are getting crumbs its because they are new or dont want them. At my terminal anyways.

 

I used to run solo from Pittston to Boston 5 days a week and I was home everyday but the team drivers get that run now because that's a 600-mile round trip and they don't give those trips to the solo guys they give them only to the team drivers now so the solo guys out of Pittston are lucky to get a couple trips down to Lebanon PA but they don't get nearly the miles they used to.
