I see a few people on here talking about going back and Ive been thinking about it too. I worked for em a year and left on good terms. Never really had too much of a problem. Anyone gone back? And how has it worked out for you?
Anyone regret going back?

once and only once have i gone back to an employer. doesn't matter to me how i left, but when i did, it was supposed to be for the better, either pay, time off or equipment. i went to that former employer to tell him he will be getting a call for a reference, and he had my permission to tell the new employer whatever he wanted to.
he asked me to come back, they will pay me more and work with me on more time off.
when i went back?
worse move i ever made, quit a second time, and never looked back.
my feeling is, once left, stay left.....poppapump1332, Mike2633, 1951 ford and 3 others Thank this. -
If you've put in your year OTR, and haven't been letting your CDL get dusty, why go back as opposed to looking for better opportunities?!?!? Usually after a year over the road, possibilities and opportunities are abounding.Sea0fgreen and Mike2633 Thank this.

I've went back. Should have never left. Making good miles. Good money. Bonus is easy to hit. No micro management. Do your loads and no one bothers you. This is my usual bonus every month.

Having a company installed inverter and an apu on all trucks is worth 5 cpm to me. Too many companies I talked to have an idle policy based on outside temp. I'm always comfortable no matter what the temp
Western flyer and Sea0fgreen Thank this. -
9000 miles a month is 2 cpm extra on all miles, 10000 is 3 cpm and 11000 is 5 cpm
Sea0fgreen Thanks this. -
I did a year with USA and then about a year flat bedding. But do to family reasons I got off the road for a while. Everyone wants that experience within the last 3 years. Completely bogus if you ask me.
That is pretty cool. That training event, is that training a driver or some kind of treadpro, better yourself type training?G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
For the bonus training? It's a online thing watch some videos and answer a few questions
Sea0fgreen and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
Heck; I'd like to hear the "what for" on this, as well. Not that I'm going back ... but.. I like to be apprised of good info!
