We typically have a lot of the same customers so I know where I can and can't get away with parking this was a broker load but they let me camp out in a empty dock so worked out well
EZ Money Thanks this. -
One of shippers told me "you can park on the next street, but im not sure if you'll get ticketed or not"
Oh thanks a lot #######, you made me wait 5 hours to get loaded and I cant park on their lot but he wants me to park on next street where I may or may not get ticketed. -
As long as there's no signs. You should be good. Provided traffic can get through

A lot of drivers park on the road between Wal Mart and Hooters in Laredo
I've parked my bobtail right in Walmarts lot with no problems
I finally talked to the overall manager at Walmart
According to him, that road is also Walmarts, and the police have been instructed to ticket and tow after two hours whether on the street or in the lot.
The manager couldn't care less, it's up to the police.
He won't bother you, but it's a crap shoot with the Laredo cops.
