The perks of being a FedEx driver must be great. Pulled into an open fuel pump with a FedEx doubles in front of me. Finished putting in my fuel and the driver walks up to me and tells me" I hope your not in a hurry my 30 minute break not over yet" have to set 6 more minutes. I think I would have made Spyder proud thinking how he would reply in this situation, told the driver all these open spots and you have to park in the fuel lane? The perks of being a FedEx driver.

Yep, the tapen Z is the way to go in. I think it's $15 with the ez pass. So $18-20 cash sounds right. The bridge to the island is about the same (15-20). But if I'm going out there I plan ahead to make the trip north easy. I only go over the GW if I deliver near it and am picking up on the island. Then I get my customer out there to pay the tolls. If he is willing to pay them then I'm willing to go out there.

 

Cash price for Throgs Neck and Whitestone is $43.50 each way. Verrazano is $87 on the way out. GW and Goethals are $105 going in. I use Best Pass, it's even cheaper than EZ Pass

 

I use bestpass too. And that explains why he gives me $200 to come over there. Lol

 

Didn't I read on here before to get Tarps elsewhere as the ones Mercer sells are not that good? And I think it was something else that's not available at the mercer store was it the moving blankets?

 

And it's partly why I charge $400 to cross the bridge.
